RECs also vary in price from time to time. The value at 1/11/08 is approximately $42 each. A customer in Zone 3 (say, in Sydney) would be able to receive approximately $1260 for their RECs.

Your actual cost is our sell price+ delivery (if any) - rebates (RECs + applicable Federal $1000 + applicable State Rebate) e.g. An eligible customer in Sydney would end up paying $ 3,895, less $1260 RECs, less $1000 Federal Rebate, less $800 NSW = just $ 835 !
