Grey Water Wheelie Bin: The Home Water Bowser

The concept of using wheelie bins for storing and
recycling water has been around for years.

After researching the market, and the features wanted by our customers, we're proud to introduce the Home Water Bowser.

This exciting product allows you to take water from your washing machine, or from your gutter downpipes, and use it for garden and other applications.

Water from your washing machine.
A 25mm high quality suction hose (4 metres long), is coupled to a 25mm through tank fitting– designed to ensure that water can flow from the washing machine without imposing extra load on the washing machine. Use grey water from your washing machine on your garden.

Water from your downpipes.
90mm stainless steel mesh inlet in the lid. Capture fresh water
from down pipes and/or use the inlet for manually pouring buckets of water collected elsewhere into the Bowser without needing to open the secure lid. You can use rainwater on the garden, for washing cars, and much more.

Pump water to your garden.
A powerful 550 Watt submersible pump is included with your Home Water Bowser. This pump has been chosen to provide sufficient head
pressure, yet will not empty the Bowser too quickly. It is turned on and off automatically by the float switch. The pump can use rainwater for uses outside the garden, too.

Anti-syphon pump outlet.
The 20mm pump outlet is positioned near the top of the bin to avoid the customer losing water inadvertently when leaving the hose on the ground while the Bowser is filling. A hose fitting is supplied to attach to the hose supplied.

Hose supplied in price.
With competing products, you usually pay a lot extra for the hose. With the Home Water Bowser, you get a 20 metres Lilac double reinforced grey water hose. The hose is fitted with 20mm click connectors at each end, and an adjustable spray nozzle.

Convenient bottom tap / drain fitting..
A top-quality tap fitting is supplied. The sullage hose can be connected to this tap, so that any water to be drained is not wasted. The customer can also use this adjustable tap if a slow flow is required to gravity feed to the garden. .

Pump cable lead.
The pump power lead exits the Home Water Bowser through a hole in the top rear of the bin . This protects the lead from damage. A weather seal is fitted to the hole to enhance safety.

Lid safety lock.
Safety is paramount!

The Home Water Bowser is fitted with a keyed ‘Lock Focus’ lock for child safety and general security.

The Home Water Bowser grey water wheelie bin is shipped disassembled, so that the external fittings are not damaged in transit. You should be able to assemble it in 15-30 minutes.

Customers collecting from our Canberra Showroom can choose the disassebled unit, or pay $20 extra for a fully-assembled unit.
