The
NETA H2grO
Grey Water Diverter System:
Greywater To
Droughtproof Your Garden
How
it Works
Step
1
H2grO
– Greywater for Gardens system diverts greywater
supplied from the bathroom and/or laundry to your garden where it
is used to irrigate plants. When you pull the plug on greywater,
it flows down through subfloor drainpipes and into the top of the
H2grO unit. Your greywater then passes through a stainless steel
filter screen to remove lint, hair and large particles after which
it collects in a pumpwell. When the level rises in the pumpwell,
a float switch activates the pump and the collected greywater is
pumped into the subsurface irrigation network.

Step 2
During periods
of rainfall or when the greywater quality is unsuitable for garden
use, divert the greywater to sewer.
Step 3

The
water flows through a stainless steel filter screen to remove large
contaminants such as hair and lint.
This
screen is set at an angle so that these contaminants buildup, they
will be flushed to sewer.
Step
4

Should
power supply be interupted or the H2grO pump develop a fault, the
greywater level will rise in the pumpwell, overflow a weir below
the filter
screen and discharge safely to sewer.
Step
5
In
the unlikely event that the council sewer becomes blocked and backsup
into the H2grO, a level sensing pressure switch mounted inside the
electrical enclosure will prevent the pump operating and divert
the valve to sewer.
Once
the sewer blockage is rectified the system will need to be cleaned
before resuming normal operating.
Model
Range
H2grO
– Greywater for Gardens is available in two models
that only differ in the method of operating their two-position diverter
valves.
1.
Manual Greywater Diverter Price: $2090.00
incl. GST
The
manual greywater diverter is supplied with a two-position diverter
valve to enable you to send greywater directly to sewer by rotating
its lever handle anticlockwise through 90°. Diversion to sewer
should be selected during periods of prolonged rain to avoid soil
saturation or whenever harsh cleaning products are used in the bathroom
or laundry.
2.
Electric Greywater Diverter Price: $3300.00
incl. GST
The
electric greywater diverter includes all the features of the manual
valve H2grO, however the valve position is selected by simply flicking
a switch located within your bathroom or laundry. Electric remote
operation eliminates the need to open the H2grO cover to manually
select the diverter valve position.
The
convenience of having the H2grO switch inside your home allows you
to take full advantage of H2grO’s selective water-recycling
capabilities. This is a unique feature that you will appreciate
for years to come.

Fluid
Capacities (Water Levels)
1. When greywater is not flowing into the H2grO the normal water
level is 6.8 Litres.
2. When H2grO
begins to operate water capacity is 15 Litres.
3. Maximum water
capacity is 29 Litres before discharge to sewer.
