A Sharp Solar 'GridPower™' grid-connect photovoltaic power system allows you to produce your own power, reduce your ever-growing power bills, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The decision by the Federal Government to increase the PVRP Rebate to a maximum of $8000 has dramatically increased the numbers of Australian households adding PV panels to their homes.

The easiest way to buy a grid-tied system is to purchase a pre-packaged kit, where all the work of matching the components has been done by the experts at the manufacturer. These system kits normally start around 1 Kw, and go up to 5 Kw. Which size is best for you? Now that you have an idea of your current (no pun intended!) electricity consumption, and how much power you will get from different systems, we can have a look at the standard range of Sharp Solar grid-tied 'GridPower™' systems.

* This is our price for the grid-connect kit, AND installation. It assumes a standard installation in Capital Cities and a metal roof (tile roof a bit extra). Non standard installations will cost extra, and those outside Metro areas may cost more to install, and incur extra delivery cost. Please ask how we can help you.

+ The PVRP is the Federal Government Rebate, at $8 per watt, capped at 1000 W. You claim this and get a cheque from the Government.

** Each sytem creates Renewable Energy Certificates on installation. The amount shown represents the value as at 31/03/07. The figure can vary from week to week. We will buy these from you after installation.
