Walk By Drive By Mobile Meter Reading
A mobile data acquisition unit enables the consumption data to be collected over radio on walking or driving by and then analysed by computer. This system saves time and money and guarantees maximum flexibility.

Izar M-Bus
The Hydrometer Izar M-Bus system uses a combination of both wireless and wired technologies to provide a building-wide wireless network. Izar M-bus allows the reading of consumption meters down to 1- minute intervals with the System being able to manage up to 1,000 devices per Izar Centre. Izar M Bus systems are ideal for complex buildings with a large number of meters.

Fixed Network System
The Fixed Network systems by nature are more complex. They often require specific and unique solutions in their design and require direct input from our technical design team.
These systems are used in applications where meters may not be in close proximity and could include large complexes, suburbs and even an entire city.

Regardless of which Hydrometer remote AMR system you choose it is the 'back end" that really counts. Hydrometer can provide a suite of software and data management solutions to drive your dollar even further.

Hydro-Radio 3 Software has been developed to interface and adapt to most customer billing systems and will provide a powerful database management tool.

The user friendly Hydro-Radio software is ideally tailored to the varied requirements of our technology. This software provides facilities for visualizing and evaluating remotely read energy data for all media — for example, heat, water, gas and electricity. Clear graphics and easy operation reduce familiarisation time to a minimum. Several users can access this client server software simultaneously. The powerful SQL database guarantees safe data archiving.

HYDRUS represents a new era of water metering based on optimum precision and the best possible efficiency.

The consumption data can be read continuously by radio over a smart metering infrastructure using the high communication capability of HYDRUS.

A UV-resistant housing and the fully encapsulated electronics ensure reliability and long life - an invaluable advantage especially under extreme climatic conditions.

HYDRUS is the ideal solution in areas with high humidity, flooded shafts or pressure surges in the pipe system. The encapsulated electronics make it insensitive to all kinds of environmental effects.

Unlike mechanical meters the Hydrus requires no programming or configuration of any kind. It is a "plug & play" device that cannot be tampered with or manipulated and does not require a MIU or external connections of any kind. The internal radio is providing "real data" without the need for external modules or conversion of pulses to radio.

The Izar M-Bus system uses "M-Bus receivers" to collect incoming data and forwards this data onto the "Izar Centre" via M Bus cabling.

The M Bus receiver is located where it maximises the reading capacity (approx 30 meters internal). Each hi-Bus receiver can collect data from up to 500 meters.

The Hydrometer "Izar Centre" receives meter consumption data via M-Bus cabling and acts as the data logger and can transmit this data via USB, Ethernet, LAN or GPRS modem into Hydro-Radio Software.

Alternatively, the Izar Centre is available with an optional digital display. Its main application is to show the customer or "meter reader" the current state of the Izar Centre device as well as displaying current meter values interactively.

The IZAR Receiver Display is a battery operated radio receiver with data display and USB interface for the IZAR range of radio resource meters. The Display is used for the automatic. unattended reading of resource consumption and for leakage detection in water distribution lines for private users. The IZAR Receiver Display is ideal for small applications such as the home, office, education and small commercial scenarios.

IZAR Receiver Display will collect consumption data from the full range of Hydrometer Hydro. radio modules and Hydrus Ultra Sonic meters. By using the Hydro-radio module it is possible to read electric and other consumption meters within the 100mm frequency range of the IZAR Receiver Display unit.

IZAR Receiver Display Is supplied with its own software to enable accurate and timely information of compatible consumption meters within its range.
