Enviro Friendly are proud to have been the first retail store
to offer grid-connect solar panel systems in Canberra. While we
have been in business since 2003, we began selling and installing
grid-connect PV systems on Canberra and Region roofs when we opened
our Phillip premises in 2006.
We
were already serious about solar products in Canberra, retailing
advanced evacuated tube and heat pump solar hot water heaters.
Today,
Enviro Friendly has supplied over 500 solar panel systems (grid-connect & stand-alone) and solar
hot water systems in the Canberra area. We offer our clients the
world's leading solar panel brands- Sunpower, Suntech, Sharp and Australian
brand Sungrid.
We're
very conscious of how important an investment in solar panels is
for our Canberra customers, and the pitfalls there can be in selecting
a retailer, and a brand. Why? Because of warranties.

retailer who sells you the system should be there to help you
if you need to ask advice. Some selling into the Canberra
market are interstate phone sales groups or simply websites, with
others operating locally from home or a post office box. As with

solar panels? In 1978, our Chairman was in a delegation
of Australian electrical retailers chosen by Sharp Corp. to visit many
of Sharp's factories in Japan, to advise on product development
and selection for the Australian market. At one of the factories,
there was Sharp's House Of The Future. which showcased emerging technologies.
Over 30 years ago, that house proudly displayed Sharp solar panels.
Sharp have shipped more PV panels than any other manufacturer in
the world. They'll be there to honour their warranties for you.
We didn't choose Sharp lightly!
 Why
do we offer you BP
Solar panels? BP Solar were among the pioneers of solar
panels in Australia. Worldwide, they've been on the solar business
for about 30 years. They've sold more panels into the Australian
market than any other brand. They manufactured panels in Australia.
Being a multi-national oil company, we don't expect the to go out
of business! They'll be there to honour their warranties for you.
We didn't choose BP lightly.
 Why
do we offer you SunPower solar panels? SunPower has been
in business since 1985. SunPower manufactures the world's most efficient
solar panels for both domestic and commercial use. They operate
in the domestic, commercial and infrastructure fields. SunPower
Australia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US parent. SunPower,
before the onset of the financial crisis, was capitalised on the
NASDAQ at US$65 billion. They'll be here to honour their warranties
to you. We didn't choose SunPower lightly.
