Changes to NSW Feed-In Tariff

It was announced today by the NSW Government that the upcoming NSW Feed In Tarriff that was to be based on a "net metering" system will now be a Gross Feed In Tariff. This is welcome news to those people how have already purchased a Photovoltaic grid connect system or those people looking at installing a Grid Connected PV system. Federal Government Announcement: " The Government will continue to meet demand under the Solar Homes and Communities Plan, which will transition to the Solar Credits scheme in mid 2009. Solar Credits will replace the Solar Homes and Communities Plan as the Government’s primary means of supporting the installation of solar power systems.
